News
I'm staying busy as always! Read on for the highlights of my upcoming gigs, recent performances, and other news.

Upcoming Gigs
I'm calling this my "season of new music!" My performance calendar for 2026 includes new works by Russ Kaplan, B.E. Boykin, and Heather Christian. I'm so excited to dive into new music, new characters, and new experiences!

Reggaeton Project
I am currently recruiting music industry professionals to interview for my Reggaetón Project. I am excited to share I recently signed a contract with publisher Bloomsbury Publishing to write a general interest book on reggaetón! My book Reggaetón: A Surprising Story of Migration and Empowerment will be published in 2027 and focus on the cultural forces, artists, and producers that together created the pan-Latinx genre of reggaetón.

Past Performances
I was thrilled to have joined the Minnesota Opera in February 2026 for the world premiere of My Name is Florence by B.E. Boykin and Harrison David Rivers. Performing in the ensemble of this new work was a highlight of my season, reinforcing my commitment to expanding the American opera canon.

It was a joy to join forces with the incredible members of Pale Blue Dot (Timothy Berry, Rob Graham, Eri Isomura, Audrey Lane-Getaz, Ilah Raleigh, Eugene Sandel, Kristina Sorum) for an electrifying tour across Minnesota! Together, we brought Russ Kaplan’s Music from Earth to life, sharing its message with the brilliant students and faculty at the St. Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists. Beyond the classroom, we were thrilled to take our music to the public, performing for audiences at the Nautilus Music-Theater in St. Paul and the Bent Paddle Brewing Co. in Duluth. Contributing to the vibrant regional arts and culture scene of the North Star State has been a truly inspiring highlight of this year, and I am so proud of the connection and creativity we sparked along the way!

In April 2025, I performed Mahler's 2nd Symphony with Bloomington Symphony Orchestra at Orchestra Hall. The April 6 concert "Transcendent Mahler" was a big success! Manny Laureano conducted the “Resurrection” Symphony of Gustav Mahler, No. 2 in C Minor, joined by Angelica Encore Choral Ensemble, the Normandale Concert Choir, and the Twin Cities Catholic Chorale. I performed the iconic alto solo alongside talented soprano, Tracey Engleman.
